There is always another train.

You didn’t get the job. The deal fell through. The opportunity slipped away. The plans you carefully laid at work, at home, with a friend fell apart.

I can tell you, it’s happened to me. More than once.

And now?

It’s easy to believe that was the train, the one that could have changed everything. But if there’s one thing I strongly believe, it’s this: there’s always another train.

The real question is: are we showing up at the station?

Not every train is ours to take. Some arrive too early, some too late, some were never meant for us at all. But if we stop going to the station, if we let one missed departure convince us to stay home, I can guarantee only one thing: we won’t be on the next one.

And while we wait?….Enjoy the station.

The architecture. The colors. The hum of movement. The smell of coffee drifting from the café. The sound of a child’s laughter as they run into their father’s arms. A couple kissing on the platform, savoring a moment before parting ways.Strangers arriving from journeys unknown, others stepping onto trains bound for places we’ll never see.

The station is full of life.

The old man with a suitcase too big for his journey. The young woman tapping her foot, excited for something new. The family returning from a long trip, carrying a bit of home and a bit of where they’ve been. Each with a story. A destination. A reason for moving.

Every station is a crossroads of stories, a place where life moves, pauses, and moves again.

And us? We’re part of it too.

Maybe we’re not boarding yet, but we’re there, present, waiting. Not passively, but with curiosity. Ready for what’s next. Because the right train doesn’t need to be chased. It finds us if we’re there to meet it.
